Hi everyone, I'm new here.
i don't see any m shape, but I noticed my scalp top part of my head front to back is losing hair at an alarming rate, evenly. Recently I noticed some gray hairs starting to pop up at the top of my scalp. About a month or two ago my scalp was extremely itchy, yellow stuff, that's when the most hair loss occurred, but since then it hasn't been as itchy. But now I'm seeing gray hairs. All this started in about may-June. Now I'm 30lbs heavier. I'm blown away at how fast it happened. I'm 24 years old. I'm taking finasteride, started about a week ago. Is there something wrong with me? Should I be taking finasteride?
It's extremely hard for me to take time off to go to a doctor since I'm so busy at work. But I'm thinking about it soon. I'm pretty nervous right now.
