quick spironolactone question

i recently received my spironolactone cream from dr lee and found that when i wake up in the morning, it leaves a pretty bad white stiff film all over my hairline which forces me to wash my hair.

Am i using this product improperly or is this normal?

You are probably applying too much. The amount that is not absorbed gets dry and strays on the skin.
Apply less.
