Hey all, First post here.

I just wanted to know what the best anti inflammatory topicals/oils and supplements out there that you guys would recommend? I want something that is generally easy to find, as natural as possible, and not all that pricey.

Currently I am taking Propecia (1mg daily for about 4 months now) and I use Nizoral 2x a week and it has hopefully been slowing down my hairloss but my head still itches like crazy and I have a minor case of sebhorea that doesn't seem to go away.

I was thinking about Coconut oil or Aloe Vera but I wanted to know other people's opinions.

I know that there is a million other posts that can answer my question but I have already looked through them and most are just people arguing lol :D.

Are you using an antifungal shampoo at all? You really should be on Nizoral, 2-4 x a week. nizoral should help with the sebum and irritation.

If you are on nizoral and its not helping cut back sebum and irritation, then perhaps cycle in a second antifungal that has a different active ingredient... such as T-Gel or Head and Shoulders.

A third suggestion... if antifungals don't help with the irritation, you might want to give copper peptide spray (such as Folligen or Tricomin) a shot. It might help.

Generally, the seborhea is, I believe, either caused by yeast and can be treated with antifungals, or if its something chronic then you might need to visit your Doctor for something more powerful. I used to chat with one of the female members on this board who had horrible seborheac dermatitis, and ended up needing to get steroid treatments from her Doctor to finally kick it.

Thank you for your response!

I will definitely try that now...use nizoral a couple more times a week and use head and shoulders in between.

I do have some tgel but i've only been using it once a week instead of a nizoral use.

Hopefully after a couple weeks the consistent use of nizoral and H&S will clear up my problem.

Just have to use them consistently :D

Yes... 2% nizoral is affectionately referred to by some of us old timers as "Pink nizoral". That's the good stuff. I can't help with any foreign pharmacy advice, I get my 2% nizoral domestically with an online prescription from Dr Lee.
