Hey for those guys who are diffuse thinning on top and have Norwood 3 or less, I have a quick tip about cutting your hair.
Get a number 1 on the sides, blend the sides w/the top, and don't cut the top. For the bangs tho, make sure they are evened out and hang around 1-1.5 inches out.
While propecia has grown a lot of my hair back, getting my hair styled in this manner practically conceals any noticeable loss. I look like a solid Norwood 1-1.5 even tho I am a Norwood 2. And only under strong light and scrutiny can you see the thinning on the top when the hair is long in this manner.
I know some of you guys know this, but it seems like the favorable thing is to shave it all off. This is just another alternative.
