Questions what to use first (RU and minoxidil)

I just got my 3 month supply of Minoxidil in the mail and all thats missing is a proper DHT blocker; RU58841.

I have not used Minoxidil yet, but I am aware that Minoxidil DOES cause shedding early on. Would it be best to apply RU58841 for a little while BEFORE starting to use Minoxidil? I've heard some pretty good stories on this forum that RU decreases/stops shedding.

Also, since RU58841 is quite expensive, is it feasible to use spironolactone S5 cream along the crown and focus more on the hairline and front with RU58841? Would mixing the two still give results relative to their effectiveness? Or should I just go full out RU?

I really don't know anything about RU, so I can't really comment on that. But there is a minoxidil solution available with a DHT inhibitor blend on Amazon that you can try:
