Questions about minoxidil

I'm 17 and thinking of starting minoxidil, however I have a few questions regarding it. First question is, when I brush my hair up on the crown, I have lines of scalp where the hair seems to grow from, should I put minoxidil there and how much does one drop affect, if that makes sense? Second question is, for anyone that's using the liquid solution, when it dries, does it dry 'hard' like gel, or does it just dry like wet hair?

It dries hard like gel from my experience, it actually makes hair look and feel a bit thicker once it dries. When it touches your scalp it should disperse a bit, even dripi n certain directions. You can control the direction of the dripping by moving your head a bit, but the effect should be a little beyond the area in which it is applies since it will go slightly systemic and disperse both on and within your skin.
