Im 21, and have finally decided to do something about my gradual hairloss, as its got to the point now where its hard to make it look even half decent. So I'd say my temples receeded when I was around 17/18, or my right temple anyway, but the rest of my hair still grew strong, so i was able to achieve a good appearance just by brushing my hair over to that side and up. But over the last 2 years, the hair at the front top just doesnt grow as long any more, say around 2inches in general, and it looks like some degree of diffuse thinning also, plus my left temple now only grows very short hair. Now this is not long enough to make hair style i had to really work any more. Plus as rest of hair gets longer and the top front just stays the same length it just looks weird.
So i got Nizoral today, and ordered finasteride (5mg, which ill divide into 5ths) and 5% min foam which ill apply morning and night, which should come in about a week. So I would say even though i definately dont want to loose any more hair, my main goal would be to get the top front hair to grow long again coz even without any regrowth, i know i can get it to look good again. Any regrowth in the temples would be just gravy :shock:
So i guess my main query is, do you guys think i can get my top front hair growing long again? Do you think stopping DHT and applying min as stimulant can kick start follciles into producing longer hair??
