I cant take finasteride, tried it 2x before ,bad sides, has anyone taken dutasteride that had sides on finasteride and had results an no sides or less sides
Question on dutasteride, are the sides less, does it work a little different than finasteride

finasteride inhibits the 5a reductase type II enzyme. This results in approx. 70% reduction of DHT. dutasteride inhibits both the type II and the 5a reductase type I enzyme. This results in >90% reduction in DHT. Both shrink the prostate. If you had sides on finasteride, it would be very surprising if you didn't have them with dutasteride. Probably not worth the risk.
