I was on finasteride 1mg made by Merck Generics in Brazil for 3 months with no side effects and pretty decent results. As I was able to get a boatload of 1mg Finpecia made by Cipla in India for a good price I switched over. I have been on the Finpecia for about 1.5 wks now and have seen some serious side effects, specifically my mood is lousy, I have been lethargic and very melancholy. Additionally, I have broken out pretty bad with a few large pimples, which is usually not a problem for me. Now I know that in order for companies to manufacture generics all they have to do is slightly alter the composition or the manufacturing process. My question is does anybody have any experience with this kind of thing and also, could the same drug manufactured by two different companies be that different? Any help is greatly appreciated as always.
