Question for those who are on dutasteride

I'm just curious whether anyone on dutasteride happens to get a prescription from their dermatologist or do most people order it online? I'm also curious about how well it's worked for those who have been on it for awhile; have you seen good results with it especially in terms of regrowth? With that being said for those who order it online about how much do you pay per month? Then finally I heard something about how finasteride only blocks like 75% of DHT whereas dutasteride blocks around 90%... Is this true? If it is doesn't that mean someone who is on finasteride and is simply maintaining would probably then see regrowth if finasteride was preventing any further loss?

Update: I have been on finasteride for around 8 months; I don't think my hair loss has gotten worse although I would have to take some progress pics to actually compare to my base photos which are on a different thread here. When I compare my hair in the mirror to my base photos it looks fairly similar so if anyone wants me to take some pics I can do so.

I take Dutasteride and have a prescription for the medication, my GP was the one who prescribed it to me. I've been taking the medication for nearly seven months now and has been working great for me, much better than what I expected. I have seen improvements in my hair since I started taking Dutasteride, including regrowth. Hair loss lessened and improved cosmetically significantly, my hair was very thin and was growing all kinked and wiry, now grows smoothly and is much fuller. I'm still not at full results yet from treatment and am still not fully satisfied; however, it's definitely moving towards that direction.

Finasteride will inhibit approximately 60-70 percent of DHT while Dutasteride will inhibit 90+ percent of the androgen. I have aggressive Male Pattern Baldness and is why I went straight to taking Dutasteride without giving Finasteride a try. I'm also using RU58841 with the 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor, and I'm sure that's also definitely contributing to the results I've been getting since it helps to keep the minuscule amounts of DHT which hasn't been inhibited by Dutasteride from binding to the androgen receptors in my scalp hair follicles.

If you've been maintaining your hair on Finasteride, that's already a huge success. Taking pics to compare your hair before and after is helpful to see how your hair has been doing.
