Yipp-hee, just got my proscar in the post today, let the battle start!!
Im going to cut them up and im already on nizoral after all the great info i have found out from you guys, thanks.
What with all the shedding and head irritation storys i have read,i was wondering about shaving my thinning hair cut as the proscar kicks in.
Has any one else done this at the start of a hair program?
I mean will i still see any results or should i leave it long and see the results more clearly, good or bad.
Also i have never in my life used conditioners (what a sheltered life) whats the advantage with them and do nizoral make one?
Cheers guys.

Its going to be a while before you see results so shaving your head wont effect that either way.

If you have any issues with scalp health,. irritation/dandruff, shaving can be a good idea. It is one way to start things off on the right step.

As for conditioner, besides making hair softer and more manageable, they can also help sooth the scalp (some more then others). No there is no nizoral condioner. I highly reccomend Hair Therapy's Tea Tree Oil and Green Tea conditioners.

Do we have any mullet people in the house?

If I don't get a trim soon I could be on the verge of growing a mini-mullet. My hair's kind of long and curly so it's not really a mullet but at this point the back is definetly longer then the front. Right now I'm rocking the Josh Groban style (obviously without his thickness).
