Q about minoxidil and nizoral

Guys I just came back from my pharmacy and looked into prices of the stuff they sell. The rogaine minoxidil is 49.99 (CDN) for a 3 month supply and generic minoxidil is 39.99 CDN for a 3 month supply by rexall, which I believe is a company based in the city I live in. The solutions are both 2%. I think the nizoral was like $20 for like 400mL if memory serves. Are these alright prices guys?

I would go with the store brand and not look back.

The prices you cite are a bit high relative to what's available in "big box" US stores. I'm not familiar with 2% prices, but a 3 month supply of generic 5% minoxidil can be had for less than $25.

$20 Canadian sounds pretty reasonable for the qty of Nizoral you state. Can't remember precisely, but pretty sure a small bottle of the low-octane stuff is around $10 here.

hmm something else to ask, how do I use the nizoral? I heard its a bad thing to use it daily, so should I just cycle it i.e. odd days use nizoral even days use Head and ShoulderS?
