Purchased 1 mg Propecia but haven't taken it yet

I am experience dull pain in my left testicle right now. This has been a reoccurring problem. I went to my doctor today and she couldn't find anything wrong with it; no swelling, no lumps, didn't hurt to touch either. So now I'm going to see a urologist.

I want to start taking Propecia but I'm afraid doing so might amplify the pain (a side effect is testicle pain after all).

Thoughts?

Just take one pill and see what happens? I mean, its only one pill and your body will make more 5AR soon enough.

Not medical advice, just what I would do. I had a lump in my R testicle and they did an ultrasound and found a benign calcification and hydrocoele as well as a varicocoele on the L. My finasteride tx hasnt really changed anything with any part of my body at all that I can tell, except maybe decreased my shedding.

Yeah, I ended up taking one last night. No side effects from what I can tell. Still kind of paranoid about taking this drug, so I don't know if I'm going to take another one tonight...

after 1 pill your DHT levels are already pretty down there. Not much increased risk by taking a second pill. Your DHT bottoms out very fast
