Pulling the hairs off your head

I have short hair and when I pinch and make a firm pull at the sides/back I typically get no hairs or 1 hair at best. At the top of my head when I pinch I consistently come up with 1-3. I never tried this up till yesterday, has this always been this way or is it just a result of male pattern baldness?

That's male pattern baldness for you. I had a full head of hair a year ago and since male pattern baldness has kicked-in, I have lost 50% of the front and 40% of the top. I run my fingers through my hair and I get 2-5 out of the top and none from the sides/back.

I can see that fu**in' horseshoe pattern developing in the light. Grrr. I have sprouts from minoxidil but it can't keep up...and I won't go on finasteride. Guess I'm screwed.

you should go on finasteride, don't you want to fight the horseshoe?
