Aloha,

I noticed that my nips are getting a little puffy after 1 month of propecia. Especially my left one. Is this something that will go back to normal after my body adjusts to propecia or will it get worse over time? Have you had this kind of thing? I'm taking brand propecia 1mg every day.

If it is gyno then it can get worse.

Any way I can check if it's gyno? I never head problem with my nips (not even when I was a teenager) and I'm around 12% bodyfat, working out daily.

I'll probably check in with my Doctor tomorrow.

Whelp, I went to the Doctor today. He said it looks / feels normal but if I continue to notice an increase to schedule an appointment with him. That's really weird. How come it's "normal" if nip is getting more puffy in only 1 month.

Anybody?

Should I stop using propecia? Will the puffy nipples go away with time if I continue using propecia?

Go check with a doctor. Usually one does not develop full blown gyno in the matter of 2 weeks. It is a gradual process and can be reversed within the first few months of the process. BUT that does not mean it should be taken lightly IMO. Like I said, go see a doctor as soon as you can and have him physically check if you are developing gyno. I wouldn't get off finasteride just yet if I were you, it might not be gyno and all in your head. good luck.

Yeah I've seen a Doctor and he said he can't feel any lumps no nada. But my nips definitely got bigger and more saggy.

just watch it, take pictures and go on with your day. Try not to think about it too much or you will imagine symptoms. If you Doctor said you are good, then no need to drop finasteride. Goodluck

I have puffy nipples as well. Not sure if it's from finasteride. Yours will probably not get worse, but likely won't go away if you stop finasteride either. Puffiness isn't bad. Noone will notice. Lots of dudes have puffy nips.

Just copying my comment from a previous similar post

Are you sure your body fat is around 12%? How did you measure? Also what is your workout regimen. Did you lose a lot of weight to reach 12%? Asking this because at/around 12% body fat and having a gyno is possible if you lost a lot of weight with good diet and workout and/or abused the body with anabolic steroids.

If you already had higher body fat and add finasteride to the equation, then there is a higher chance (but not always) gyno is possible. The 12% body fat is what making me chime in.
