Proscar Price Jump

I take brand name Proscar. Its about 5 bucks a pill i split it into 5 equal pieces and take daily. I ussually buy two or 3 at a time because rite aid is just right up the street and at 10 or 15 bucks at a time its nice and cheap. Well yesterday i go to pick up 2 Proscars and they say were sorry its now 19 bucks for 2... Wtf?? So i angrily just bought one and left. Has this happened to anyone else? If they would have said its gonna double in price i would have just filled the whole thing at 5 bucks each. How can they do this?

Nowhere carries brand name Proscar and i refuse to switch to a generic. All these pharmacies act like its a chore to order and say it ll cost me more if they have to order me a new bottle. But if another one of their pharmacies have it, it wont be as much ?? What kind of bs scam is this? Im so pissed. I already get freakin raped for my 30 mg of daily methadone bc i have to go through a clinic. I pay $420 a month. A script of 90 10mg methadone pills is $22. Im tired of getting screwed over. Dont get me started on the methadone issue. Its pure greed and they know ppl cant go w/out it
