I've read someone elsewhere state that there is a possibility that the 5 mg of finasteride in Proscar pills aren't evenly distributed and can lie within one side of the pill. Personally I find that stupid because in order to do that Merck would have to manufacture each pill individually.
...Aren't they mass produced? I thought drugs were once in the form of liquid and then they harden into little tablets with their name printed on them. If that's the case then obviously the ingredients are mixed up well before they get into the hardened state.
Ah, I believe "scoring" is the term they use for equal distribution in drugs. By the way, how much does each Proscar tablet weigh? I don't have a scale that sensitive. For some reason I can't find it anywhere online...
