PROSCAR CUTTING IDEA

This may already be known, but i just had the idea of cutting the proscar on a not so sticky (perhaps 'removable' type) sticky tape. I did it just then on some sticky tape and it just helped by holding it in one spot whilst you cut it so it doesnt go flying off and/or crumble into powder as much.

I am new to cutting it and it helps a bit, though i know most are vets when it comes to cutting and have already got the cutting skill, but yah if you have problems cutting give this a go and see if it works for you.

I use a pill cutter to cut the pill in two on the long side and then i take a sharp utility knife(thin blade) to cut the two halfs in 3. I use .83mg a day.

Or you simply can cut the two halfs in two if you use 1.25mg a day

You can get a pill cutter at your local drug store

i cut it easily with just a straight edge razor. all of that isn't neccessary

I tried pill cutter and it doesnt really work for me, i have generic finasteride and it's round so that may make some difference.

BUT the sticky tape just helps novices like me

People just may find it useful if they have difficulties with it flying off or crumbling too much.

I'd love to be able to cut it into five, but it aint gunna happen, especially when it's round.

personally i think the pill cutter is horrible. Always dusts a piece. Buy a sharp flat blade. Cuts that sucker like butter.
