"...hair loss is not a sign of ill health or impotence. It’s just a side effect of masculinity."

"Medically, there is no need to treat male-pattern baldness. So before you embark on any regimen, take a look in the mirror and think it over. And before you decide, try to imagine how Michael Jordan would look with a full head of hair."

I liked those quotes. Anyways Cardura is approved for hypertension as well as enlarged prostate. Minoxidil is approved for hypertension also. Proscar for enlarged prostate. Cardura seems like it could also do something for hairloss.

"Cardura is already approved for hypertension and enlarged prostate. Like other alpha blockers, it reduces blood pressure by dilating blood vessels. It achieves this effect by blocking nerve endings known as alpha-1 receptors."

I hate when people think hairloss is because of poor health or hygene.....
so wait, if finasteride blocks type 2 and cardura blocks type 1, wouldnt this combo be effective, seeing how for optimal hairloss stoppage both need to be blocked? It will be interesting to see how the hair of the men who take this new drug turns out......

I've always wondered.. would it actually be safe blocking all DHT production in the body?

Would that be like taking estrogen? does that block all dht?,Taking estrogen stops the growth of body hair, grows boobs, hips and high pitched voice, I dont know if estrogen actually blocks out all dht in the body or it works next to it overpowering it. I am very interested however to see how the men who take this new drug turn out with their hair as a sideffect, Proscar for hairloss was originally discovered by accident as men with bph were taking it they were also keeping their hair.......
