proper use of finasaride

Is it ok to cut 5 mg finasaride into 5 pieces roughly and consume for 1 mg requirement I have been doing that coz it is less expensive that way

Yeah it's ok there's no big difference between 1 and 1.25mg

I've used quartered proscar for a while, but did it change to an oblong rectangle for any of you guys? Kind of upsets me because its a little more difficult to cut equally.

I just cut it into quarters, especially since I feel I lose a little when slicing the finasteride so it kind of makes it up when one dose is an extra 0.25mg.
