proper dosage of finasteride for someone looking, simply, not to lose

I have a pretty okay head of hair. I was wondering what an appropriate amount of finasteride would be just for maintenance.
1mg per day seems like it might be too much. I was thinking around .25 to .65 mg, is this a reasonable amount?

a standard dose is fine, anything over .25mg. Doesn't matter. You cant take "too much"
