Hi!

I was just wondering if you guys could help me with some questions.

I have been on Propecia for 9 months soon. Lately it has started to ich in the scalp. Does this mean anything? There has also been some more shedding than in the begining. Does this mean that its working and hair is falling off due to make room for the new ones?

I`m a bit afraid since here the other day I lost many hairs when I was in the shower. More than normal. Average is maybe 50 hairs a day, but I dont know really.... A bit concerned:/

i would say the "itch" your referring to is not from the finasteride

rather the hair follicles being strangled by the degenerative effects of DHT

All right. Made my day.

I have never before experienced any kind of "itch", but lately there`s been some itching. My hair has gained some volume/thickening since I started on the treatment, but I`m still hoping that there will be some more when the Propecia starts to kick in for real.

The "itching" isn`t that bad, so hopefully it is from the new hairs thats growing One can only hope.
