Hey i have a receded hairline n slight thinning in the front. Wy crown is fine no problem there. Anyway ive been taking 5% xandrox and 2% spironolactone. Is it worth ading propecia. After all these stories about it making hairline worse im thinking is it worth the risk when the hairloss seems to be occuring in the front? Any suggestion. Also ive just bought this new flutagel not received it yet might drop the spironolactone instead thanks

Of course add it! Propecia is not as effective in the hairline, but it will maintain what you got and possibly improve the hairline some have had improvements there so you might be one of the lucky ones. After 12 months add foam to help Rogrow the hairline. Thats my advice.

All I can say about propecia (finasteride) is the following: In my 2 years of using it, the hair that I had has definitely stayed in place, I probably did not regrow a considerable amount but it sure as hell has helped me maintain my baseline.
