Propecia with Tamoxifen (estrogen-blocker)?

Hi there.

Just wanted to ask if any of you guys is using tamoxifen along with finasteride. My estrogenes was highly elevated while on finasteride, so i had to quit due to slight gyno.

I'm 20, btw. Any opinions,experiences?

I've heard of users doing this before, although to me it seems a bit like overkill. You'll likely be on propecia for a long time (a number of years), and personally I wouldn't be comfortable taking a SERM for that long. Perhaps you could look at milder aromatase inhibitors, such as DIM?

amsch, what dosage of finasteride are you taking? I am asking this because I have gyno already (which I got from roids), having it removed soon it seems, surgically. I am thinking of getting on finasteride at a lower dose - so I'm just wondering what dose you're taking. I don't want gyno to reoccur as this surgery is costing me a lot.

I was on a 1mg dose over a year ago.

I don't think lowering the dosage helps for people suffering from gyno while on finasteride.

I am taking 10mg of tamoxifen along with dutasteride. 3rd day and still alive

Tamoxifen is ok to treat smtn in a short period of time but isn't realistic at all to keep using like finasteride. Not for a male.
