Shouldn't start finasteride without seeing a medical doctor, whether it be a dermatologist or even a general practicioner or family Doctor. Just my opinion.

Once you see a Doctor, you can get cheap generic finasteride from these two reliable sites

http://www.unitedpharmacies.com

http://www.inhousepharmacy.com

Propecia is the 1 mg brand name finasteride.

Proscar is the 5 mg brand name finasteride.

Finpecia is a 1 mg generic finasteride.

Fincar is a 5 mg generic finasteride.

If money is an issue though, the cheapest way is to get a perscription for proscar. It will then cost you around 5-6$ a packet wich will last for about 2 months. You will have to cut every pill in five pieces though and its not easy.

I've read this many times but personally just bite 1/5th off the pill each day, have had no problems at all, the pieces are fractionally different in size but nothing to worry about.
