Propecia to dutasteride, taking them together for a little bit?

I am thinking about changing my regime to dutasteride, actually Dutagen from Propecia. I am very concerned that the generic dutasteride will not work. For me, this was the case with the generic propecia. Thus, I am proposing taking both propecia and dutagen together for a while until my dutasteride kicks in. The last several months, propecia seems to have not been working well. I have lost quite a bit of hairs and its scaring the hell out of me. I have been on propecia since 1999.

Has anyone experienced taking propecia and dutasteride both together? Should I for a month to see if dutasteride starts working?

dem i am doing the same thing.

i recommend taking the dutas every day, and taking propecia/proscar 3x a week in case the dutasteride is fake. it is unlikely tha the generic dutasteride wil be fake but take the other just in case.

Do you take the proscar in addition to the dutasteride on those days (both together)? I was thinking about cutting the propecia in half and taking it every day with the dutasteride to keep it regularly in my system. Then, I would could think about cutting the dosage of propecia down if I see the dutasteride working.

Two or three days ought to be sufficient for that.
