Propecia+Rogaine cost

I started taking propecia a year ago, 0.5 a day, and it has completely stopped my hair loss. The shower floor used to be full of hair, but can barely find any hair now.

I've been thinking about starting on rogaine aswell. It's only my temples that have receeded, and i know rogaine normally isnt very effective in temples, but im gonna give it a shot anyway.

Now to the problem. Propecia is kind of expensive for me since im a student. It costs me around 600 kroner (80euros or 108usd) a month. Is propecia as expensive where you live aswell?

And how is the price of rogaine compared to propecia? cheaper/more expensive?

First of all, try talking to your doctor and ask him if he/she can prescribe proscar which essentially contains a 5mg dosage of Finasteride in one tablet. You can cut it into 5 pieces and it will save you a boat load of money.

You can also buy Proscar or other generic brand of finasteride at places like inhouse pharmacy at a very cheap price. Although I'm not sure if they will be willing to ship where you live.

minoxidil is nowhere as expensive as Propecia. Depending on which brand you choose to go with, it can be as cheap or cheaper as $25 for a 6 month supply.

A lot of people on here use Kirkland minoxidil which can be found on Amazon

Rogaine brand of minoxidil will be a bit more expensive.

Are you in Norway or Denmark? I'm not sure if Amazon will ship to those countries. If they do, the shipping might be a bit expensive and I'm not sure what the laws are regarding 5% minoxidil in your country, you might have to get a prescription as well.

At the moment I haven't started The Big 3 yet, only Nizoral, but that does not help at all alone, I know..

unfortunately inhouse pharmacy does not ship to Denmark is there another site we can buy it cheaper? In Denmark it's expensive as hell..
