Propecia Results Question

I think the usual time frame to see results with propecia is 3 - 6 months .. to see decrease in shedding and maybe even regrowth . Im wondering if anyone has gotten results after the 6 month mark?

Because I just started my 6th month with Propecia not too long ago and up untill now i think that there has been no results.. not even maintenance. so i was wondering if i still have a chance for the propecia to kick in and start to take effect .. or will it probably not work for me if i havent seen results yet??

I really hope it starts working!! i would kill to have 2 or 3 more years of no hairloss and keeping what i have now through college atleast .. but its looking as im not going to be so lucky.. so any comments / opinions are welcome! thanks guys.

I started finasteride (propecia) and minoxidil at the same time, I first noticed results around month 8, the usual vellus hair story, since then things have slowly improved.

keep going

seriously you need to keep going for at least 13 months. After the 13 month mark, then reconsider.

There have been cases of people who started to notice results for the first time after 18 months.

Dont give up on it, it is the only proven treatment for stopping hairloss so you have nothing to lose (other than money)

Taking regular pics is a good idea too; I think we've all had bad days where you convince yourself it's never looked worse.

Yea i just started taking pictures in the middle of month 5 so im going to keep up with that i guess every month and keep with the finasteride...

anyone else have late results with Propecia?? or any kind of finasteride??

Thanks for all the replies it gives me hope that Propecia still has a chance to work... but my temples and hairline are definitly getting worse no doubt about that.

hairlosstalk and Brasileirao recently mentioned to me upon inquiry that they noticed cosmetic improvement in their hair at month 8 (Bras) and month 8-11 (HairLossTalk.com) look at some pics of act1onpack, it looks like he had most of his regrowth at months 6-8, and even the propecia website says not to expect regrowth till at least month 6. BHD once told me that he saw good results in 1-4 months, then sh*t for 4-7, then noticed improvement again at 7-11 (i hope i quoted these people right, but you get the idea). all of these people have had excellent results, so that's encouragement for you. i'm in the same boat man, about to hit 6.5 months, and looking to start some regrowing dammit!
