Does propecia regrow the same hairs that was shed from it, or does it regrow those hairs, plus others?

depends, propecia is more effective in vertex than in the front.

weak hairs that are shed have a chance of coming out stronger due to the fact that they are no longer damaged by so much dht.

It can do any of the above. For a good responder, you'll regrow the hair you shed, plus more. Some people will just regrow what is shed, and maybe the diameter and quality of the hair will increase a little. Nonreponders continue to lose hair. Some people never experience a shed on propecia, and just maintain or get a little regrowth without ever having a period of increased shedding.
