propecia question

I would like to know if Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance will cover Propecia. Anyone know? I figured it probably won't cause its intended use is more of a "cosmetic" usage. Now if I could get my hands on Proscar, it would probably be covered, since it is used for prostate enlargement, but how the hell am I gonna get that, I am only 28. I also believe you would have to have a prostate problem to get a script for it, not hairloss. Anyone have advice? :?

Are you on fincar? Is it as good as Merck finasteride? What are your results?
