Which is recommended and where to get it?

I'm currently on Propecia, but want to go cheaper. I know I'll have to have the doctor change the prescription to get Proscar, but can I get the Generic at WalMart with my current prescription...or do they carry it yet?

If I have to go online to get it...how do I do it with my current prescription at Wal-Mart?

Go merck brand with finasteride. Currently, the only off brand of propecia is made in India by Cipla. I am sure that they are a legitimate business, but I still have that inkling that I was screwed. I'm on fincar by the way (generic proscar). Something doesn't feel right about taking it.... like I know how I felt on propecia, and It doesnt feel the same on fincar.

My take is to always go with what you know. I'm gonna get proscar next time, because I KNOW it works and is real.

I would say Proscar is your best value for your money.

I am on real merk Propecia right now, and I will be using proscar at month 8 (2.25 months away).
