Propecia doesnt work on the temples!!

thats according to the propecia website!

this sux majorly- im thinning on my temples & lets be honest the temples are the MAIN place guys start to recede. ive been taking propecia for a month so Its too early to tell for myself.

What are your guys experience of it?

& if Propecia is supposed to take care of DHT whats so special about the temples that render propecia ineffective?

It worked on my hair line.

The study mostly measured quantitative hair counts on the crown, that is why they do not make claims on the hairline.

Because it is usually the first hair to go, the hairline (temples) are likely more susceptible to DHT, finasteride only reduces about 85% of DHT, leaving some that can still have an effect on the hairline, or in some peoples cases, cause some regrowth.

right thanks for letting me know. ive decided to start using minoxidil on my temples- maybe that will give propecia the boost it needs.
