propecia and vellus hairs

I have some this white (vellus) hairs in my hariline. Has anybody had any experience whith propecia resorting vellus hairs here and filling in the hairline? It has kind of been my understanding that if the follicle is still alive (ie. able to produce vellus hairs) then eventually propecia will regenerate thick hairs here. Thanks for any help.

I have read a few post where they had said they regained there hairline which means yes , finasteride helps vellus' become thicker .I'm thinking of trying dutasteride in a few months for better results .

me too, lots of vellus hair everywhere, around three quarters of an inch to one inch long now (they were one or two millimeters for months) if I pick one out with a pair of tweezers I can clearly see that the thickness is increasing (thicker towards the folicle end) I also have quite a few Jet black hairs dotted around (my hair colour is fairly light dirty blonde)
