im 20 years old right now, been on propecia for about 6 months but the thing is, for three months in between i started taking 0.5mg insted of 1 duo to some side effects.
when i started taking it my hair stopped falling, and when i started to take 0.5 i didnt really notice any change, but a month ago i took a close look at the miror after a shower and realised that the entire top of my head lost a huge amount of hair density and i freaked out, the top front of my hair was extremly thin, much more than before i took propecia, and until then i didnt see many hairs falling in the shower or on the pillow so it caught me by suprise.
so i started went back to taking 1mg, i may be wrong but i feel its only getting worse and im really down right now.
and to be fair i have long hair so i was keeping it in a bun and wearing hats sometimes and had a pretty terrible diet for a while with not much protein but im keeping watch now
altough after going through the forum for a bit i read that there is a tinning phase before the hair gets thicker, my question is: how thin can the hair get during that phase? because my hair right not is terribly thin, alot more that i remember it
and could this even be a shedding cycle? or am i just unlucky? starting to think about buzzing my hair.
should i panic? should i wait and see maby its the medication?
has anyone here been through such a thinning and the hair got thick again?
