Muscle tissue is unique in that it doesn't contain DHT. Therefore the people telling you that propecia will affect your bulking up are bullshitting.

Actually, finasteride can be beneficial towards muscle growth. A lot of supplements, such as Animal Stak, contain DHT blockers. These are helpful by reducing the conversion to DHT and in doing so, heightening overall free testosterone.

Propecia doesn't affect muscle growth. Don't listen to anecdotes of people swearing it does.
This is right. Instead listen to anecdotes of people who, like me, swear it doesn't.

"I do solemnly swear that the taking of propecia did not affect my rate of muscle growth..."

I retract my statement that Propecia definately cannot affect muscle growth. However, my sentiments come from an amazement about the variety of ridiculous things members of this forum attribute to Propecia.
