Propecia and hairline

I know that Propecia claims to have some effects on the hairline, but I want to know if anyone has seen any results. I am considering Propecia, and the reason I ask is because the hairline is the only place that I am losing hair. Luckily for me, I have caught it early and haven't lost much hair at this point. I have fine, thin hairs(more then just peach fuzz) on the edges of my hairline, and I was hoping to make those hairs thicker and fuller. Would Propecia work/help in potentially accomplishing this? Are there any other products that I should consider?
