propecia and generic finesteride. Are they the same?

ive been taking propecia for almost 2 years now with greath results but there is a problem with the site that ive been buying it from so i wondering on just getting generic finesteride. Wondering if they have the same results???

Alot of people here buy the generics and they work just as good and cost less.
