Hm, it doesn't proof anything. maybe those beardy individuals have low scalp DHT and/or less AR in their scalp hair.

Remember that DHT is an autocrine hormone, which means it has only effect in generated tissues. You might have high DHT activity in beard follicles and low in scalp hair follicles which would give you NW0 hairline and thick beard.

Nobody said it was. Their is zero correlation.


High DHT individuals, and low DHT individuals are equally able to have minor towards aggressive hair loss. The gene, followed by the amount of receptors at your scalp is one predicts how fast you bald.
