Alright both topical formulas contain minoxidil and finasteride, and are of particular interest as Oral finasteride is not worth the overwhelming sides for me, and I am sure some can agree.

I know there is a huge Xandrox 15 plus thread where those on it are giving it some good praise. Haven't heard too much about Promox as of yet.

So, what do you guys think? What would you say is the best way to go? Which would have lesser sides? Pros and Cons of each? Also, do either of the product sites offer Paypal as a payment option?

All opinions are welcome, though I am hoping that people whom are actually using either of the products to chime in and offer some insight of their experience.

thanks!

No, you should expect the same side effects with topical finasteride as with oral finasteride. Many think anyway, that the only way topical finasteride works is by reducing DHT in your body. Maybe Brian can help out on this.

This is what dr. lee says about the addition of finasteride in his Xandrox Formula:
Q. Xandrox15 already contains 5% azelaic acid to decrease DHT in the scalp. Why add finasteride?

A. Although topical azelaic acid will prevent the synthesis of DHT in the scalp where it is applied, it does not protect the hair follicles from DHT circulating in the bloodstream. Finasteride applied topically can and does decrease the serum DHT and, although the 5-alpha reductase enzymes in the scalp is primarily Type I, there are also Type II 5AR's in the scalp that the topically applied finasteride inhibits.

Btw, don't know about Promox, but Xandrox15+ has received some good feedback here. I'm on the regular Xandrox15 right now (just started)

Thats what I was thinking, though reading some posts of users that are on Xandrox 15 plus are saying that they aren't feeling much side effects as they were when they were on oral finasteride. One person said that after 2 days on Oral finasteride, they got massive sides, and after a month on Xandrox 15 plus, they've have significantly lower sides if any at all.

Any ideas? (and its more than 1 person, so it can't really be all in their head)
