Alright guys, I have been on Promox for a little over 3 months now and I have definitely thinned out some and I'm just curious to your guys thoughts on my situation. Promox contains minoxidil, finasteride, retina, azleic acid, progesterone and I do notice that immediately after application my scalp turns red and sometimes stings lightly. I'm guessing it may be from the retin a but I am not sure. Even sometimes when I shower it almost slightly burns in the areas I apply when warm water runs on my head and sometimes even when I towel dry my hair it seems to slightly burn too. My question is is this bad and could I be hurting my chances at regrowth and possibly making my hair shed due to the retin a burning or irritating the scalp? Not sure if the slight burn is common with retina or not. Just wondering if I might be better off with a different minoxidil?

Thanks in advance

Promox is a scam!
Not too much more I can say.
I've been on it since April '09, and it has not slowed down my hair loss.
Dr. Klein will claim otherwise.
I guess some people stick by their products no matter if you show up one day to their office with a bald head.
Just as long as their making money.

Sad.....

How's your hair doing now?
Are you still on Promox?

Sounds like your scalp can't take the continual Retin A applications, if I were you i'd look to replace it with some thing else or buy some emu oil/anti inflammatory you can put on your scalp to help with the burning sensation.
