Finasteride user for 10+ years. Started generic minoxidil foam in January '18 after losing ground for 6 months straight. Didn't mind the foam, never experienced a shed, never noticed anything. However after 6 months my hair was too long to successfully apply the foam to. Shifted to liquid and shedding has increased and been constant since. Not drastic, but noticeable to me in the shower and throughout the day.
I know some will say switching was a bad idea. Others might say I wasn't responding to the foam and I am responding to the liquid, hence the shed. But, the shed has persisted for almost four months - am I screwed? Is the liquid minoxidil making things worse instead of better?
