Ok so both rogaine and procepia are not working. Still losing and not slowing down. (ive given it plenty of time).

So im thinking of using xandrox 15 and either upping the doasge to 5mg or changing to dusteride.

Any advice - anyone done this.

this is it, then im just going to try and except it and stop wasting my money

Has the increase been benefical?

Was procepia working at all for you? Interesting about the 1 dusteride pill a week too.

I have yet to see any results or even a slowing of the juggernaut that is my hairloss.

I figure that i'll go the same route as you. I'll step it up to half a pill a day and add the dusteride once a week (already got some just scared as ive heard mostly negative stuff, may i ask what is your reasoning behind this). And finish off with the xandrox 15 plus. Im sure if anything is going to work that will. Starting to wonder though if all this is just making it worse, my hair has gone downhill so quickly since i started on all this. Thansk for you time.

Well I got most of my regrowth from minoxidil and that is all I started with but after 2 years the effects started wearing off. I then jumped on finasteride and was using it for two years and yes, I started loosing a little ground. Then I cut my finasteride dose in half 6 days a week and added dutasteride on the 7th and got back a little thickker hair, no new regrowth but it thicked up nicely and is still to early to tell if I will. Sorry I did not respond yesterday I had company over.

Also remember that everyone responds different to treatmenst so what works for me may not work for you and/or it could work better for you than me. ( hope that makes sense)

Keyzer - please fill in your "Regimen" in your profile so people know what you're on, and how long you've been on it. That will be very helpful in enabling others to give you advice.

You left out the most important part of information related to your question. How long have you been on Propecia? Without this information, no advice can be given to you. If you've only been on it a month the advice is different than if you've been on it for 2 years.

Propecia takes a minimum of 1 full year to really start chugging along, and it will not do well without Nizoral. No way of knowing if you're also using Nizoral as your regimen box is empty. The lack of nizoral very well may be the reason Propecia is not working.

Please fill in the blanks so we can assist.

Thanks guys, regimen updated.

I gave proscar and kirkland minoxidil 5% and nizoral almost 11months or so but just kept losing hair. Stopped for a few months then got scared again and started foam and fincar. Been on that for another 7 to 8 and still losing ground so quick.
My temples are pretty much gone and the front is thinning and you can see its starting to travel back, diffuse wise.

What sucks is im a twin and my brother hasnt lost anything. I have yet to see any result or even a slowing down of this. I have started shaving my head. Im desparate.

Im going on xandrox 15 and upping my procepia to half a pill then taking dusteride once a week as a last resort. god help me

thanks for the replys and help guys
