I don't want to sound racist, but only Japanese have had a major contribution to the sciences thus far.
Can it be that the Chinese or the Koreans find the cure?
Well...
Let's wait and see...

Eh, it's hard to get excited over anything that isn't at least in phase I, especially when we have no clue what these do. But cool to see new research popping up.

Because the Japanese have a more favorable research environment/FDA equivalent, etc. Regenerative medicine is a big focus over there and their revised testing standards allow those treatments to potentially be fast-tracked. Compared to the US where the most prominent hair loss researchers seem obsessed with academic-like research (e.g. Cotsarelis), the FDA does everything it can to obstruct, and scientific research is being funded less and less.

That's not entirely accurate. China and Korea have both had major contributions in the world of science. Sure the Japanese are smarter, but China and Korea aren't exactly third world countries.

That's some funky twist of what I said.
I never implied anything like that. Even though China ain't actually a developed country.

You basically said Chinese and Koreans are too stupid to contribute. You couldn't be more wrong, and you've obviously never been to Beijing if you think China isn't a developed country.

At this point not even the start of phase III's get me excited. I just want to see phase III's finished and released. Phase I's-II's means another 5 years of waiting usually. male pattern baldness waits for no man, no study. It ravages through our little hair follicles without remorse. If left untreated male pattern baldness *can* destroy someone's hair (and life) in a matter of 1 year.

Well you should get excited if something reaches phase III, considering nothing has in decades...at this point, if it makes it to phase III then it's very likely it makes it to market.

Nope, what I actually inferred is that it is more likely that Japanese have a breakthrough than Chinese and Koreans.
Btw, it's not me who claims that China ain't a developed country. Beg OECD's pardon.
Bis bald!
