pregnant women handling crushed proscar tablets

mywife is pregnant and i am about to start proscar- crushed into four pieces- i am worried that if she touches any trace of the tablet - i.e some that may be on my skin or in my mouth or on some clothing that it may affect the genitals of the child as per the warnings

if i keep the tablets at work and just take it there what is the chance that this may be a problem? i.e if a trace gets on my shirt and then later in the day her mouth touches the shirt can that cause a problem?

i am worried about this and contemplating not taking the tablet as a result

any suggestions??

i think most likely the amount of trace finasteride that you would transfer to your wife would be really negligible (unless you were kissing her right after taking the pill or something).

but just to be sure, why don't you take propecia (instead of proscar) just while she is pregnant, so you're not breaking up the pills at all.
