Predetermined no. of hair cycles?

I've seen it written by Dr. Lee that hair has a pre-determined number of hair cycles with 20 being the figure given.

Can/is this true?

I understadn how miniaturization works but always wondered about the diffuse stuff. Just last december I had a very thin front but then I diffused to a NW5A in a week. WTF I said. This could explain how why that happens. ANyone with more info.

Well, from what I have read a new hair cycle begins every.... 4-6 years? So I guess the average age of about 80 that makes sense.

Personally past the age of 50, I couldnt care less if I was bald or not.
At 20, its sucks.
