Im a diffused victim and will shortly have 500 fue done with DR Rogers.
unfortunatly my girl friend wants a few friends around to celebrate her birthday some 4 days after my op. So im gunna come up with a story as i have had an accident ie slipped and cut my head from behind hence wound dressing to cover donor shaved part. But will i be able to use toppik and get away with covering my scalp on top or will this be to much to expect. Oh and one quest will be a hair dresser.

Just reschedule. It's only 500 FUE. They'll definitely take you another day.

Well, there is nothing you can do. I don't understand why these scars are so visable. I just had a transplant (1200) and my existing hairs covered the scar with no problem at all. I also took the dressing off the next day. I was told the scar needs to breath?? All doctors have different post op recover procedures.

As for not washing your hair, I was told I could wash the scar after (2) days and could wash my hair ( using a wash cloth over my head ) after 4 days. This is the second week after surgery and the scar looks great and the hair transplant look better, still a little red but looks like they all came in and are healing nicely. Every hair is about a quarter inch long. So seems my post op care worked.

Also, why only 500 graphs? Even though Transplants are painless and fairly easy the recovery is uncomfortable and a pain in the ***!! If your going to go through it, you may as well do more than 500.
