Hey guys!

Poly system wearer for about 8 months and loving it but....i'm noticing that after about the 2nd day after a full maintenance, the center around at the hairline starts curving up creating these waves/small pockets.

This causes me to peel up the hairline weekly, clean it off and re-apply Walker Ultra Hold...but the pockets come back after 1-2 days. Some times i can see the pockets right after a hairline touch-up. Hairline never looks that great after the full maintenance. I'm doing full maintenance about every 3 weeks, I'm in Florida but work indoors....still I sweat a lot.

Tried a lace system for about 10 days and it was way worse for me, hairline detectable from at least 20-30 feet away.

I've attached an image to help. Anybody else having/had this issue?

I'm still using my first hair system...probably getting a new system in 1-2 months.

Thank you!

It appears that it may not be applied evenly. Meaning.... if those Pockets were a little more extreme it could cause wrinkles.

I would suggest cleaning the scalp and base very well with 99% alcohol. Apply a scalp protector.... Then apply ultra hold to the base only along the hairline.... brushing forward toward and off the hairline....very slowly and carefully lower the hairline down and lightly press it down a little at a time...moving along the hairline with a pair of small scissors.

After 30 to 60 Minutes of drying I go around with a clean fingertip and press down along the hairline as well.

I definitely feel like this is caused from either being stretched a little when applied or being applied a little too loosely....If that makes sense.

Thank you for the reply!
I'll try applying Walker only to the base...i've always done both the scalp and base.

The area that these "wrinkles" or Pockets appear do have the least amount of hair compared to the rest of the hairline....which is another oddity that I don't know why it's happening. The rest of the hairline is full of hair but this area seems to always thin out. Over the past 8 months I've had to cut the hair line up higher and higher. Could it be the lack of hair there causing the pockets?

The pockets only appear in this section of the hair system. I've uploaded a recent image.
