wow some good results here. its been no match for mine though. ive used liquid, citric acid (spectral dnc) and the foam with nothing to speak of apart from the artificial thickening effect that it gives. its the only reason i still use it.

if that's really the truth then you could save a lot of money and just use a thickening serum

mmm i still live in hope i suppose. the foam only works out at £10 a month so its not much more expensive.

thats a huge difference but thats just me

i can prob get decent thickening serum and make it last for like $4-5 a month, so what like 2.50 pounds a month. how do you mkae that pound thing anyway

I was on the liquid for 3 years and it greatly improved my hairline. I got on foam for 4 month's and started losing ground and switched back to the liquid. It could have been just a shed but I did not want to take any chances.

I'm not on the foam yet, but I voted anyway because I used minoxidil liquid on the front and got a lot of 1/2 inch vellus hairs sprouting up where my hairline had been slick bald for years. I never used it in back, so I hope the foam fills in my vertex.

How much does the foam thicken the hair on the first application? Is it more obvious than a single washing of aveda pure abundance? Does the hair stick together like gel?

I hate the look foam creates on my crown right after application. It makes the hair clump together and makes the thinning area look ALOT more prominant. After it dries a little I usually run my hands through it and it breaks up these clumping hairs and the thinning area is alot less obvious.

i agree...that is one of the worst things about the foam...the way it seems to dry and clump what hairs you have left...
