good find I was actually wondering about this days ago.. . So this appears to be Phase III in EU?! Anyway good news that one of the group will have 1mg of oral fina. we will know for good how efficient is 0,25% vs 1mg!

I guess, for a great number of people, this is only interesting if they measure systemic finasteride concentration and DHT reduction as well. Although I still can't wrap my head around how do they intend to market topical finasteride or dutasteride as a safe treatment for the environment. I mean if a great number of men used topical finasteride wouldn't they unintentionally but inevitably rub it on their surrounding. Like scratching your head then grabbing a handrail. This would lead to an increase in birth defects in pregnant women wouldn't it?

Too little, too late.

Is it more effective than oral finasteride? No? Scratch the project.
Does it still go systemic? Yes? Scratch the project.

might worth to add to a routine ?! Btw I wonder if this can replace hair wax o_O

Minoxidil foam is already a great styling product according to some, Breezula aka CB is around the corner for the younger generations of baldites. Don't see the point.

When will this be available? 2018, 2019?

Breezula won't come out for several years.

For this to be true, you would need a lot of hair. Otherwise it just messes everything up.

The liquid already worked great for me and I don't have much hair in the middle. Kirkland was too greasy but another brand I used was great but had to give up. Hope to try the foam to test it out.

Breezula for acne 2019 and for male pattern baldness 2021.

People don't want anything to do with finasteride, this seems like a waste of everyone's time.

id be happy to use finasteride if it avoided systemic circulation....

my no. 1 problem with finasteride has always been that it goes systemic.. the rest of the body utilizes androgens normally, its only the follicles in the balding area that are behaving abnormally.

This will too, the sides might be less perhaps but what about the neurological side-effects?

If someone does some studies on it then we will know the answers about how much goes systemic, versus effectiveness. Maybe topical is a little less effective, but goes systemic a whole lot less then oral. Even if it goes systemic it might not saturate or hit all the same organs or places the same as oral does.
I think its worth a shot considering nothing anytime soon is replacing finasteride as the best maintaining option for new balders.

But how well does CB work? From what i've read so far, 5% CB vs 5% minoxidil are almost the same. Minoxidil was better at maintaining, while regrowth improvement were almost the same.

"39 percent of patients on Breezula had at least some improvement in hair growth, compared to 36 percent of those on Minoxidil. 26 percent of patients on Breezula had at least some worsening in hair growth, compared to 16 percent of those on Minoxidil."

http://www.hairlosscure2020.com/category/breezula/

So 5% minoxidil was able to go head to head with CB in hair growth improvement, and it was better at maintaining too. This is of course only phase 2 results. Who knows if they go with something higher than 5% CB.

Am I missing something on the hype of CB?

CB is supposed to be weaker than RU, and we all know how well that works. It's just going to help people who have very mild hair loss, or will potentially just slow down hair loss for those who cannot tolerate side effects (although from anecdotal reports, CB is not even completely free of side effects which was the big selling point).

The general tone is that all these drugs perform fairly poorly especially considering how long they take to get to market.
