Please help...

Hey everyone. Having some serious issues. I'm having serious, serious thinning going on. It is gradually getting worse and worse. The weird part is that my hair loss isn't that bad. I lose maybe 10 or so hairs in the shower and notice maybe one or two on my pillow when I wake up...nothing alarming. Recesssion isn't a problem either, has been where it was 5 years ago. The problem is thinning. Can somebody please recommend something for my hair that is thinning every day. My scalp is becoming more and more visible by the minute and I don't know what to do. I just started finasteride a few days ago along with nizoral so haven't noticed any affects from those yet but my thinning is becoming outrageous. Please help...what can I do about my thinning scalp. Also, I live in Boston, anybody know where I can get nizoral 2%? Does it have to be recommended or can I pick it up somewhere? Please help guys, I need it.

I hear the 1% or 2% aren't that much different in effectiveness. I get a generic nizoral from Dr. LEe or whatever he is, the Xandrox guy. YOu need a prescription, but he does it online... I can't remember if he charges for that..

Also, the lasercomb by Hairmax cis FDA approved for thickening hair (not growing hair).. But that costs about $500...

Thanks for the help. I have heard about lasercomb but I've also heard a lot of negativity about it. Basically, that's not a road I think I'll be going down. After just a week on finasteride and nizoral, I feel like I'm already seeing signs of improvement. This could just be me but recently my wet hair has been pretty badly as you can see my scalp but for the past few days, it's gotten progressively better and I'm hoping this is a sign of things to come. Like I said before, I'm not shedding too badly (yet), I just notice a hair or 2 on my pillow and some on my hands in the shower but the shedding and recession isn't much of a factor at all. My only concern is the thinning. I will continue with my regimen and see what happens but for the time being, I really want to know about something really, really effective for thickening my hair and providing better scalp coverage. Any suggestions anyone?
